To promote responsible hunting practices, respect for wildlife, awareness of nature, and a culture of accountability among our members.
The mission
We support an approach to outdoor traditions that recognises applicable laws, wildlife management principles, ethical conduct, safety, and the long-term value of healthy natural environments.
Through cooperation, knowledge-sharing and responsible decision-making, we encourage a thoughtful relationship between people, wildlife and the landscapes they enjoy.
What it means in practice
- Knowing and following Latvian hunting and firearms regulations.
- Putting safety — your own and others' — ahead of any outcome.
- Treating game animals with respect and avoiding unnecessary suffering.
- Leaving forests, fields and roads clean and undamaged.
- Sharing knowledge openly so that newer members learn good habits.
Who it serves
Our members first, but also landowners, neighbouring communities and everyone who values Latvia's natural heritage.
