Vision & values
Where we're headed
Our vision
We envision a community in which members understand their responsibilities, share information constructively, respect Latvia's natural heritage, and recognise the importance of lawful and sustainable practices.
We express these principles through a clear organisational identity, responsible communication, and activities that reflect our confirmed purpose.
Core values
Responsibility
We value thoughtful decisions, personal accountability, and responsible conduct in outdoor environments.
Respect for Wildlife
We recognise the importance of understanding wildlife, respecting applicable regulations, and avoiding unnecessary harm to the natural environment.
Environmental Awareness
We encourage appreciation of natural landscapes and awareness of the responsibilities that come with spending time outdoors.
Safety and Preparedness
We emphasise knowledge, preparation, compliance with applicable safety requirements, and consideration for others.
Cooperation and Community
We value constructive communication, mutual respect, and cooperation among people who share an interest in outdoor traditions.
Integrity and Transparency
Organisational information should be accurate, activities represented honestly, and public communication should reflect verified facts.
